The Chestermere Mustangs are proud to announce the signing of Tristen Kerr, a hometown product who will suit up for his hometown team this season!
Born and raised in Chestermere, Alberta, Tristen is a skilled 5’7″ center who took on the challenge of junior hockey last season with the Calgary Bandits as a 16-year-old rookie. Competing against older, more experienced players at such a young age speaks volumes about his character, determination, and hockey IQ.
Now, Tristen returns home to represent the community that helped shape his hockey journey. There is something special about wearing your hometown crest, and we’re excited for our fans to watch one of their own take the ice in a Mustangs jersey.
Building a team that reflects the Chestermere community is a huge part of our vision, and bringing local talent home is something we’re incredibly proud of. We can’t wait to see Tristen continue his development while playing in front of family, friends, and the community that has supported him from the beginning.
