Coaching Staff
Coach Jared is an experienced junior hockey coach with over 15 years behind the bench. He also runs Tholl Theory as a personal trainer in Calgary and has experience in sales, contracting, and acting, giving him a broad background in leadership and athlete development.
Fun fact: Coach Jared has appeared as standins for several TV shows, most notably The Last of Us (2023).
Ethan Fraser is an Assistant Coach with the Southern Alberta Mustangs, serving as the team’s Forward Coach. He brings a strong focus on player development, structure, and accountability, playing a key role in both on-ice development and day-to-day team operations. Known for his attention to detail and commitment to helping athletes grow, Ethan works closely with forwards to develop their skill set, hockey IQ, and offensive consistency. He is dedicated to creating an environment where players are pushed to compete at a high level while continuing to build strong habits and character. His approach emphasizes preparation, communication, and consistency, helping athletes reach their full potential both on and off the ice. Prior to his coaching career, Ethan played for the Ontario Junior Reign in the USPHL Premier, where he recorded 23 points (9 goals, 14 assists) in 34 games during the 2024–2025 season. His playing experience provides valuable insight that he now brings into his coaching and development of players.
